Lucas and Hobson, who jumped the broom last June, have been together for seven years. The lavish ceremony was attended by the creme de la creme of Hollywood elite, such as action star Samuel L. Jackson, director Steven Spielberg (who toasted the couple at the reception), singer Ne-Yo, news man Al Roker and Oprah’s bestie, Gayle King.  The ceremony was officiated by the couple’s good friend, journalist, and talk show host Bill Moyers.  The purple one, Prince, performed at the wedding reception for 90 minutes.

Lucas, who was previously married, has three older children whom he adopted from ex-wife Marcia Lou Griffin.  The filmmaker then adopted two children, Katie, 25 and Jett, 20, after he divorced Griffin in 1983.

Hobson, 44, is president of the $3 billion firm, Ariel Investments. She is also the chairperson of DreamWorks Animation and a contributor on the television news chatfest “Good Morning America.”
