What happens when outsiders to the HBCU community try to impact Black college culture? The answer may not be as straightforward as you think.
Fashion experts Glen Jackson, Constance White and Beverly Johnson joined Roland Martin on “NewsOne Now” to discuss the difference between style and fashion for blacks. When Martin made the point that most blacks look to their community for trends, Johnson offered that he – with his pocket squares and ascots – is, in fact, a black style icon.
