A 33-year-old Houston, Texas man has been sentenced to life in prison after he was convicted of child sex assault, including infecting a toddler with HIV, and impregnating a teen, according to KTLA 5.

David Wilson, a registered sex offender, was charged Thursday with super aggravated sexual assault of a 23-month-old toddler and sex assault of a 14-year-old, who became pregnant. “The charges come after he was found guilty in 2005 of sexually assaulting a child and sentenced to four years in prison,” the report says.

The incident involving the infant occurred while she stayed with relatives, where she went to live because her parents struggled with drug addiction, writes the television news outlet:

Last November, the toddler was taken to the doctor and diagnosed with HIV, genital herpes and chlamydia. She had to undergo genital reconstructive surgery due to infection. Doctors called investigators, and four people in the home where the toddler lived were tested. Wilson was the only test that came back positive for HIV.

A 14-year-old told a case worker she had been having sex with Wilson for two years and was pregnant. An exam showed that she was HIV positive, had herpes and chlamydia.

Two weeks ago, a 17-year-old Baton Rouge, Louisiana man, accused of transmitting HIV to a 13-year-old girl, was indicted Wednesday on third-degree rape charges.
