What happens when outsiders to the HBCU community try to impact Black college culture? The answer may not be as straightforward as you think.
Keshia Knight Pulliam made the transition from well-known child actress to college co-ed at Atlanta’s Spelman College, where she would major in Sociology with a concentration in Film. After graduating with honors in 2001, she would portray the wife of Lance Gross on House of Payne.
Here, she provides a bit of advice to current students that just might surprise you.
