The Black choir that graced Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding ceremony in May just inked a major deal. According to the New York Post, the London-based Kingdom Choir signed a record deal with Sony Music.

The choir has been in existence for over 20 years, but they rose to popularity after performing their rendition of the classic song “Stand by Me” at the royal wedding. Now, they’ve finally received their big break. Under the record deal, they’re slated to release an album in November. “We are absolutely over the moon, delighted, it’s a dream. We’re all so excited,” choir leader Karen Gibson told the news outlet. “We really didn’t expect that and we really just thought that we would have a lovely time at the wedding and maybe have a bit of a platform, but then this happens. I would never have thought it in a million years.”

Success was destined for the choir. After their performance at the wedding, they landed themselves on the top of the US Hot Gospel Songs chart. Sony Music is excited about bringing the choir on board. “We are absolutely thrilled to have signed Kingdom Choir to Sony,” Nicole Tuer, COO, Sony Music U.K. told Billboard. “Along with the rest of the world, we were stunned by their incredible performance at the royal wedding, so we jumped at the chance to sign them.”

The choir also plans on having a concert in London at the Union Chapel in November after their album is released.
