A federal judge ordered accused Capitol rioter Samuel Lazar to remain jailed in part because of racist death threats posted on Facebook that suggest he's a danger to Black people.

The committee established by the U.S. House of Representatives to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol riot has subpoenaed 11 rally organizers including veteran Donald Trump campaign event organizer Katrina Pierson.

The House committee has issued its first batch of subpoenas for four of ex-President Donald Trump's close advisers and associates, some of whom were in contact with him the day of the Jan. 6, Capitol riot he helped instigate with his months-long "stop the steal" propaganda campaign. 

Douglas Jensen, a QAnon cult member who rioted in the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, has been sent back to jail because of his "addiction" to right-wing websites, a violation of the terms of his probation.

A federal judge ordered sanctions on Sidney Powell and several other lawyers of the Trump cult over their support of the "big lie" that eventually led to the Caucasian Can't-Coup-Right rebellion at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

Trump released two absurd statements on Friday stating he intends to run in 2024 after Facebook announced the details pertaining to his suspension from the platform.

All but six Republicans voted against advancing a bill that would create an independent commission to study the U.S. Capitol attack, using the procedural mechanism known as the filibuster to end the bill's discussion.
