The Emmett Till Interpretive Center purchased the barn after a $1.5 million donation from “Bridgerton” and “Grey’s Anatomy” creator Shonda Rhimes.
The gun was added to a permanent exhibit in the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum. The addition was made on the 70th anniversary of Emmett Till’s lynching.
