The Trump administration has spent much of its second term attacking voting rights and trying to federalize control of elections.

The Department of Justice keeps filing fraud charges against organizations and individuals whom President Trump perceives as political enemies.

Trump said Thursday he was willing to end Blanche's nomination, but keep him on as acting attorney general and re-nominate him later, when Sens. John Cornyn and Thom Tillis are out of the way.

Before Blanche can secure his position as AG, he needs to convince Democratic and Republican senators that he isn't still planning to serve as President Donald Trump's personal lawyer.

The NAACP’s demand was spurred by the shooting death of Tyrin Johnson by National Guard members and the in-custody death of Darius Chappell.

On Thursday, a federal judge ordered the DOJ to either release unredacted versions of several files related to late billionaire sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, or explain why it can't do so.

The question is whether or not Todd Blanche can survive the Senate confirmation process, especially after his defense of Trump's reparations fund.

While the MAGA reparations fund has been cancelled, the protection from the IRS that Donald Trump built into his "deal" is still on the table.

Trump settled with an agency he's ultimately in charge of, negotiated a reparations fund for his cronies, and got immunity for himself and his family.

So apparently, America can do reparations and wrap up the process in two years; it just depends on who is crying.

This is the second time in less than a year that the Department of Justice has indicted Comey at the behest of President Donald Trump.

The move to reclassify medical marijuana was started under the Biden administration. A June hearing may lead to cannabis being broadly reclassified.
