Wall Street Protesters Eye Diversity As Movement Grows

The New York Daily News reports:

Marches began in New Zealand early Saturday; swept into Tokyo, Hong Kong and Manila with the arrival of daylight in Asia; continued in front of old monuments in Europe’s capitals; and then moved across America, Canada and Mexico.

Different crowds in different countries had different grievances, but the protests were united by the phrase “we are the 99%” – who feel the richest 1% own too much and share too little
