Former Rutgers University football player Eric Legrande said on Twitter yesterday that he can feel tingling in his body. A glimmer of hope for the 20-year-old who was paralyzed during a football game last year.
The hopeful young man tweeted: “Twitches going throughout body, coming back.”

LeGrand, who continues to go to rehabilitation, is off the ventilator and eating solid foods. He still uses a wheelchair but says that he can now move his arm out to the side.
