Following the dedication of the national monument for MLK this past weekend, Civil Rights Icon Andrew Young sat down with NewsOne correspondent Mark Anthony Thomas to discuss MLK’s vision for economic justice and the lifelong battle to eradicate poverty.

Thomas was also able to sit down with the vice president of Operation Hope, James Bailey.

The interviews took place at the Drum Major Institute’s “We Marched With Martin” held at the Newseum, Washington, D.C.
