A source close to the trial of two New York City Police officers involved in the fatal shooting of Sean Bell says the deputy commissioner overseeing the proceedings overseeing the case will recommend that Detective Gescard Isnora be fired, NY1 reports.

According to reports, the deputy commissioner will recommend to Police Commissioner Ray Kelly that Isnora, who allegedly instigated the incident, be found guilty and fired from the force.

The police commissioner has the final say in the case. He is expected to go along with the deputy commissioner’s recommendation.
