Even though NFL Baltimore Ravens superstar athlete Ray Lewis (pictured) is on the mend trying to heal his triceps muscle, one of his baby mommas is attempting to put a hurting on his wallet. The Mother of his 11-year-old son, Sharnika Kelly, is in the midst of a long and contentious child support dispute with Lewis and is reportedly trying to hire a forensic investigator to sift through all of Lewis’ finances in an attempt to obtain more money out of the gridiron player, according to TMZ.

Kelly, who currently receives $3,500 a month in child support from Lewis, signed her custody deal back in 2001. Earlier this year, the young woman petitioned a family court to throw out the child support amount that she had originally agreed to with Lewis. At the time, Kelly claimed that the 37-year-old linebacker never fully disclosed his earnings.

Lewis, who is reportedly more than willing to provide support for his son, petitioned a Florida court to provide a guardianship for his son.  The appointed person would manage the monies coming from Lewis and would ensure that they would go toward the support of his child. Apparently, Lewis discovered that Kelly had an alleged outstanding judgement against her totaling $1,000,000 and he feared she would use his child support money to not only pay off her debt but to support her other child by another man.

In an attempt to counter Kelly’s request, Lewis recently filed documents in a Florida family court petitioning a judge to bar Kelly from going through his finances with a fine-toothed comb. The Father of six children with four different women also contends that when Kelly signed her child support agreement 11 years ago, she had a lawyer present so if she wanted to make amendments she should have done so at that point.

And so the plot thickens….
