3 White Men Indicted For Burning Black Church After Obama Victory
Three Massachusetts men have been formally indicted in the torching of a predominantly black church hours after the election of President Barack Obama.
The three were arrested Jan. 16 on a charge of conspiracy to violate the rights of the congregation of the Macedonia Church of God in Christ, whose almost-finished new building was nearly destroyed.
A federal grand jury handed up the indictment Tuesday against 22-year-old Benjamin Haskell, 24-year-old Michael Jacques and 21-year-old Thomas Gleason of Springfield.
The men were freed on $100,000 bail under house arrest on Monday. They are scheduled for arraignment on Thursday.
The indictment alleges the men talked about their racial motives before setting the fire.

What’s even crazier is..that this happened in my own hometown. Heard about it. And the white people act like this has nothing to do with the increased violent crime rate. Black men are angrier than ever because this HATE crime has happened in a highly Black populated neighborhood and this church had saved for YEARS for this new church. It’s sad. Sad as hell.

See I’m angry and though burning a church ain’t gonna stop this new president and the new way of life that is upon us, I am still tried of these racist, no good white folk who have nothing more to do but hurt others because they feel inferior to others who are or who live with an abundant thinking and feel that God has called all of us to high living and be responsible for ourselves and what we do. I just wish it was possible that more could be done, because I have experienced racism on a regular basis where I live now and to be honest its crazy that more can’t be done to destroy that mentality.
