This is the result of: lack of parenting skills, and a country that punishes parents for trying to raise their kids properly….This is one of the Main causes why kids here in America grow the way they do, without morals and values, without respect for others, without a sense of purpose, without manners n sense…..I’m born Jamaican, and the government there dont give a s**t if the skin is beaten off em bad-ass kids……The Bible says “Parents, dont spare the rod n spoil the child”……if I did that s**t with my mom when i was this kids age, the cops wud probably come lock her up…..And u know what, all the scolding I got made a well respectable young man with sense on how to behave in this world……Parents here need a lesson from Jamaican parents, trust.

Yeah, well, spanking and disciplinary methods that actually work, have been redefined as child abuse. We’ve spent too much time listening to psychobabbling “child experts” and psychologists who would rather your kid “take a time out,” or better yet, put them on some kind of drug to regulate their mood/behavior.

What a pathetic world we live in when parents have to start calling the police to get their kids to obey them. Sad but true, I know some parents that have done similar to get their kids to obey. Not me, I can’t do that.

There is too much of this ‘Dont spank the kids’ shyt these days. You whoop they azz, you get in trouble, then when they get all out of pocket society wants to point at US the parents and ask ‘What didnt you do, Why you let him/her get like that?”. I say put it down on em when they are LITTLE and you wont have stories like this floatin around.

One thing I know, is that any strong man she’s encountered, who told her to beat his lil spoiled ass. Was most likely run off. I know alot of single mothers, that refuse to listen to my advice on how to raise their boys. Yet they’re the first to complain how the kids act up, and dont listen. A boy needs a strong man, or a strong focused woman. All this sensitive, thats my baby crap needs to go out the window. I BEATS ASS! When threats dont work on your kids, you gotta get ka-ray-zay lol

What is this? That’s why you discipline your child in advance way before they become a teen so they will honor you, respect you, and fear you to a certain exstint. What he would have got was his @$$ disiplined to the point he would have been having flashbacks everytime he played grand theft auto after hours lmao.

The child shouldn’t be the one in charge, key word “Child”. Adults play your role and do it well in advance. DO NOT put marks on a child or physically hit them like they are a stranger on the streets but do put your kid in check.

Sounds like mama needs to work on her parenting skills. Even at 14, all my mom had to do was say “turn it off”. If I disobeyed her, she’d turn the game off for me and DARE me to challenge her authority.

You gotta have your child’s respect. Calling the cops is not going to get his or her respect…it’s just going to further solidify how the kid is running things at that house. I say smack both the teen for being an unruly brat, and the mother for letting him run things.
