Saggin' PantsIn an effort to pass Florida’s new “Pull Your Pants Up”  law, State Senator Gary Siplin showed up to Orlando schools on the first day of classes to hand belts to students whose pants sagged.

“We want our kids to believe they’re going to college, and part of that is an attitude, and part of that is being dressed professionally,” Siplin said.

We aren’t sure if this tactic worked. When it comes to sagging pants, the belt isn’t usually the problem. Most of the time guys are already wearing belts, just not always as instructed.

no need to hand out belts. when they get tired of paying fines, they’ll learn to pull their pants up.

Hope they’re not using State money to purchase these belts to hand out…only to get them thrown on the curbs.

Sure our young people need to pull their doggone pants up. But, some people love this stupid crap! Makes them feel good!

What a meaningless tactic. These idiots already have belts on, they just think this is hip. They don’t understand that they all are regarded and looked upon as being illiterate ass homosexuals. No real man or woman, would dress like that. Who the hell do they think are going to hire them, Burger King? If I was an owner of a business, and one of these a*****es came looking for a job, I’d sick the dogs on them.

If this is the “look” that began in the penal system as well as the “implied rationale” for “droop draws” and is often viewed with disgust of young black men of similar mindset . . . one would have to suppose: “they have to stay READY, even if they don’t get to (incarcerated) GO”!! History will record quite clearly . . . it was all about “SNITCHES”; “GUNS”; “NOTCHES”; “BALLOONS”; stuffed “TEDDY BEARS”; and, R.I.P.!! “Belts” will be of “little, if at all” consequence to a “mindset of SELF-ANNIHILATION”!! How does one “buckle up” against those kinds of odds???

It doesn’t matter how well they are dress, if these kids are dumb as rocks then they will not get in college at all. Maybe if this stupid ass senator would focus on GRADES instead of whether they are sagging or not then he’d be doing a good job. But this is politician trying to look good.

Careful there on your comments. Didn’t you see the posts the other day on the NJ teacher who said her 1st grade class was full of future criminals, and the heat she got from that.

By the way, I agree with your comments.

Finally!!! Maybe other states will enforce this type of law to help these kids keep their pants up. They make it hard for other children to be taken seriously in society. Fine their parents is another option to stop this flash mob and sagging nonsense.

    It needed to happen.

Most of them don’t know that sagging pants means th ey’re the woman in jail. When I told one that he looked shocked. No one’s effectively told them that’s what it means. Oh Lawd!

i dont think we need prayers in school..this nation wasnt founded with any religious sect …that whole “under god” thing was added in the 1950′s due to political pressure…so dont go believing religion is part of this country!
