From Mashable.com:

If Dear Abby and your therapist just aren’t cutting it this Valentine’s Day, you can tweet at the world’s longest-married (living) couple, Herbert and Zelmyra Fisher, for the scoop on how to score and sustain love.

That’s right, while some of the older set just can’t wrap their heads around Twitter (Twitter) (unless it’s connected to a fax machine), the Fishers will be all up on the microblogging site this V-Day, dispensing pearls of wisdom to the younger set (for whom the sanctity of marriage has already been destroyed by Facebook). The whole project was dreamed up by blinkbox, which is an on-demand movie and TV website in the UK.

Herbert and Zelmyra — who were married in 1924 and are 104 and 102 years old respectively — are inviting us romantically bankrupt miscreants to visit their Twitter page, @longestmarried, from today until February 12. Simply tweet your question to the pair, who will select 14 questions that they will then answer on February 14.

Visit their twitter page at www.twitter.com/longestmarried and tweet them your questions!

I don’t know maybe it’s just me, but they don’t look as old as they are, maybe they eat healthly which explains why they’ve lasted so long. Besides that it’s a shame that this couple won’t get the nationwide shine they deserve. GOD BLESS THEM BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s sad that nobody in this generation will EVER know the meaning of love. The only thing that this generation knows is how to suck and lick on everybodies body parts and how to screw any and everything that walks. And oh yeah, jumping from household to household meanwhile causing emotional distress and drama to individual’s lives. I would LOVE to have experienced love like these two. God bless them abundantly!

Wow they were 16 and 18 at the time they gotten married….when means they were born i think in 1906 and 1908….wow..i mean at least they’re still together, from teen lovers…to soul mates and they got to grow old together. Hmm not trying to be negative either, but it’s because you been married for a long time doesn’t mean the marriage didn’t suffer any mishaps. There’s always room for someone to be unfaithful. LOL…men keep your “genes in your jeans”.
