There is no need for discussion. People will always think and feel the way they do. There is a black President and that is MAJOR progress. Lets move forward and stop with all the discussions. You cannot talk people out of the way they think and feel.

I watched the program on Dr. King Day, and it was pretty good. The weak part of the programming was having Tom Joyner, Slap Stick Negro King, co-hosting. He’s was trying to be funny when he had the platform to address and discuss some very serious issues we African American Blacks contend with. He’s too old or too comfortable in his old age to still appear as if he’s the negro at the corner store.

RayAlonzo, I disagree. Problems will still arise if people keep looking the other way and not addressing the past. Because if people don’t know where they come from, they won’t know where they are going in life. Like Dr. Cornel West said at the MLK memorial service on Monday during his speech. “President Obama is a fulfillment, not the fulfillment when it comes to Black people.” It’s still same shyt, different day. Also President Obama is biracial, not Black. I’m an Obama supporter, but I can see through the bs that still goes on in this country.
