Body Of Missing Woman Found In Clutter At Home

A four-month search for a missing Las Vegas woman has come to an end in the unlikeliest of places: her own home.

The Clark County Coroner’s office said Friday that the corpse found in the clutter-filled home belongs to 67-year-old Billie Jean James. A spokeswoman says it could take weeks to determine when and how she died.

Police say her husband made the shocking discovery this week.

Police say they searched the home several times — even using dogs from a unit that helped locate bodies at ground zero after Sept. 11. But they were unable to find the body amid the hoards of clothes, knickknacks and other junk.

The woman’s husband has not been named as a suspect.

    y wasnt they sited for the trash and the health department called.

    Hoarding is a mental problem. They cant bear to let anything go, and thats trash included! They have this feeling that if they throw this away or throw that away that they are letting something important go and wont be able to ever get it again. Trash included. Its crazy how they think but ITS MENTAL. Theyre insane to say the least, for living in all the filth but its normal for them to live like that. We’ll never be able to understand it so why even try. Watch Hoarders on A&E channel if you can deal with the stench!!!!!!!!

    4months,no one could smell the roting body any sooner? thats unreal. a dead rat can rick up a house or a dead possum in an allie really bad. and a body can funk up a whole city block. real talk, so i dnt see how it took them this long to find the body. something is not right here. and this is really sad.

    not a good look, and what I don’t get is, that in this pic it doesn’t look like they were hoarding anything but trash, they could have easily picked all they stuff up and threw it in a trashcan. I truely hope that the husband gets help or else we will be commenting again about him dying in that mess.

    i smell foul play somewhere,the body wasn’t in that clutter{4months and no one smelled a thing,how funny} i believe the body was added after all this time.
