Model, actress Denise Vasi is fulfilling the #2 spot in the trio of leading women on VH1’s Atlanta-based “Sex in the City”-esque dramedy, “Single Ladies.” She replaces Stacey Dash, who announced in September that she would be leaving the show just four months after it premiered with one of the network’s highest ratings since Fall 2009.

“Denise is the perfect addition to the ‘Single Ladies’ cast,” Executive Producer Queen Latifah told TheWrapUp.com. “She is bringing a fun, new element to the show.”

The former “All My Children” star is scripted to play a wealthy business woman who is close friends with LisaRaye McCoy’s character, Keisha.

A source close to the show says that Stacey Dash’s character will be moving out of town — perhaps because of a relationship. Filming for the new season has been scheduled to begin January and air in Summer 2012.

1. Assassin and Video Model

She may be best known for her role as Randi Morgan Hubbard on ABC’s “All My Children” that she played from 2008 to the much-talked about series finale this year. But she’s also appeared on “White Collar,” “The Protector,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” and in music videos for Common’s “Go” and Mario’s “How Do I Breathe?” [imdb.com]

2. Child Star

She began modeling at age 12 when a family friend submitted some snapshots of her to the famed Ford Modeling Agency. She’s now signed to Next Models Management and has appeared in campaigns ranging from Old Navy and Olay. [wikipedia.org]
