Yesterday’s cannibalistic attack on a homeless man is the fourth recent, vicious attack in that area blamed on drugs, according to Miami-Dade County police.
As previously reported by NewsOne, a Miami man was shot to death by police yesterday afternoon after he was found eating another man’s face. Even as he was hit by repeated shots, he kept gnawing at his victim’s face, whom sources say is now barely recognizable.
Armando Aguilar, who heads the local chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police said that he’s never seen anything like it in 30 years on the force, and apparently it’s due to bad drugs, reports CBS4.com.
“He was literally eating his face, from the top of his forehead to his jaw is gone. He wasn’t only gnawing at it, he was swallowing bits of his face,” Aguilar said. “This is about the fourth incident I hear already within our Miami Dade County area where these individuals have taken off their clothes and gone totally insane as a result of the drugs they’re taking,” he continues. “I don’t know if there’s any such a thing as good LSD out there but apparently this is really bad LSD.”

Aguilar said that the responding officer shouted for the man to stop, but he simply turned and growled at the officer and returned to eating his victim’s face. It took the cannibal being shot four times before he stopped eating.
