Fallout from the Chris Brown/Drake melee that took place during the wee hours of June 14 still rages on. Not only has law enforcement forced the nightclub where the fight took place to close its doors, but now NBA star Tony Parker claims to have been injured in the fight. And Drake is reportedly refusing to chat with authorities, according the Daily Mail.

The fight included roughly 30 people. Reportedly, the camps of both stars collided when Drake allegedly stopped Brown as he and his crew were exiting SOHO’s WIP Club, a New York City celeb hotspot.

What sparked the fight apparently stemmed from a few comments that were supposedly made by Drake and his camp about the pop star Rihanna who had been romantically tied to both he and Brown. According to the Daily Mail, witnesses claimed the two recording stars started fighting after Brown sent Drake a bottle of champagne as a peace offering – a gesture that was promptly snubbed by Drake. He reportedly sent the bottle back with a note: “I’m f***ing the love of your life, deal with it.”

The fist-throwing, glass, ice bucket and bottle-flinging incident left an open gash on Brown’s chin, injured his girlfriend model, Karrueche Tran, and resulted in massive head wounds on his security guard’s head. There were a bevy of other injuries reportedly sustained by innocent bystanders, including NBA San Antonio Spurs Tony Parker. He suffered a scratched retina on one of his eyes.

Parker described the incident to the Detroit Free Press, “I was with my friend Chris Brown and me and my friends took some punches, so I’ll be missing the start of the French team (Summer Olympics) because I can’t do anything for a week except keep the lens in and then take drops.”

On Saturday night, law enforcement officials shut down the doors of the celeb nightclub due to code violations, although no further details have been provided according to the Wall Street Journal. Jonathan Cantor, WIP’s manager was taken into custody Thursday night after police found out he had two outstanding warrants against him. He was given a summons for a noise violation and arrested for open warrants.

Now police want to have a conversation with Drake about the incident, but he seems to be avoiding them. According to several witnesses, he got the melee going by hurling a bottle at Brown.

New York City police were days away from arresting anyone in the brawl. But officials noted that Drake could be hit with an array of criminal charges that run the gamut from reckless endangerment to rioting, if it’s determined that he threw the bottle that started the brawl.

If he doesn’t come in for questioning, he could be arrested according to a source who spoke to the New York Post. Police Commissioner Ray Kelly told the New York Post yesterday authorities are still sorting out what happened. “The detectives are looking at it and investigating it, and if an arrest is appropriate, an arrest is going to be made,” Kelly said.
