“Basketball Wives L.A.” has never quite gained the popularity of it’s older sister show, “Basketball Wives Miami,” and producers have reportedly cleaned house, firing Gloria Govan, Laura Govan, Malaysia Pargo and Brooke Bailey from the show, reports TMZ.

Executive producer Shaunie O’Neal hinted that the show would get a massive overhaul on Twitter earlier this month when a fan of the franchise expressed disappointment in the quality of the cast:

Reportedly, even though she pretended not to have much power when “BBW, Miami” was taking a beating in the media due to excessive violence, she was not playing around this time!

TMZ has more:

Sources connected to the show tell TMZ the producers are getting rid of Gloria, Laura Govan, Malaysia Pargo and Brooke Bailey because the wives, especially Gloria, weren’t allowing “all of their reality to be filmed.”

We’re told the breaking point came when Gloria (who is known for her feisty ways) jetted off to Vegas to marry [Matt] Barnes — and didn’t even let the show know about it. Our sources say the producers felt extremely disrespected by her actions and made the decision to clean house.

Our sources tell us the producers haven’t told the wives they’re getting fired yet, but are already looking for new women to fill their spots.

Draya Michele and Jackie Christie will be the only returning members.

Both Laura and Brooke took it to the “Tweets” to deny the rumors:

No word on the status of Compton’s finest, Bambi. But whatever form the team takes, we’re sure it’ll be a rebuilding season.
