Pacman JonesNFL Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones (pictured) was arrested Monday morning on disorderly conduct charges for allegedly making offensive comments to police while intoxicated at a traffic stop, according to TMZ.

Jones was reportedly the passenger in a vehicle that was being driven by Tishana Holmes, who was pulled over by police for allegedly doing 60 in a 45 mph zone. While officers were administering a field sobriety test on the woman, whose relationship with Jones is still unknown, the NFL player reportedly began mouthing off.

Officers reportedly asked Holmes to take a breathalyzer test, and when she refused, the woman was cuffed for suspicion of driving under the influence. Jones, who is battling through game-related injuries and was reportedly celebrating his birthday earlier, was also taken in to custody along with his lady friend.

While both Jones and Holmes were eventually released without bond, the pair are expected to appear in court on Friday to face charges.

Unfortunately, Jones’ latest brush with the law isn’t the first: Last June, he was arrested and charged with assault after allegedly socking a woman outside a Cincinnati bar. Jones pleaded not guilty a day after his arrest and is still awaiting trial but is free on his own recognizance. Then a month later, Jones was arrested again on another disorderly conduct charge. At the time, Jones was allegedly intoxicated while he resisted arrest outside of a nightclub. Jones pleaded guilty to the disorderly conduct charge in exchange for having the resisting-arrest charge dropped and was sentenced to a $250 fine and 50 hours of community service.

How does the Bengals organization feel about Jones’ third arrest in three years? ESPN contacted the team’s personnel, according to the Bleacher Report, and they had this to say:

As with most situations of this nature, it would be inappropriate for the team to comment until the matter is resolved through normal legal channels, a team spokesperson said.
