Lil Wayne doesn’t have any worries. The rapper tweeted about the prank call that sent over 20 SWAT members to his Miami home earlier today.

He also tossed a quick hint about his upcoming LP, the “Free Weezy Album.”

Police determined the call was a hoax after no victims or proof of any shooting was found.

After an extensive search of Lil Wayne’s home, Miami PD have confirmed that the shooting was indeed a hoax. No victims or weapons were found. Police took down their perimeter shortly after finding out the home was empty. They thanked the rapper and his entourage for their cooperation.

Miami Beach PD also explained why they took their time before entering the home after the call was made several hours ago:

Cash Money has confirmed that Lil Wayne was not home at the time of the alleged shooting. Mack Maine has also confirmed Wayne is doing fine.

Police have informed reporters that a SWAT team plans to enter the 8-bedroom home shortly. Police are also speaking with the rapper’s entourage who are currently on the scene.

Police are currently surrounding Lil Wayne‘s home in Miami, Florida after shots were fired earlier Wednesday afternoon, reports TMZ.

Miami PD are on the scene at La Gorce Island after someone called 911 claiming shots were fired and four people were injured. The person who called dispatch was not present at the time of the suspected shooting. Police say the “veracity” of the caller’s voice is more than enough for them to believe the call wasn’t a hoax.

The rapper was not home at the time of the alleged shooting.

Officials added that just 11 days prior, a man was seen lurking around the rapper’s home. When police arrived, the man stated he was invited by Wayne and was let go.

Over 15 police officers are currently on the scene. Many of the homes are surrounded by gates. It is unknown if the gunman is in the home.
