More details have come to light regarding the events that transpired before former NBA star Lamar Odom was found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada.
In an interview with HLN’s Nancy Grace, Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof says Odom was healthy and did not take drugs at his establishment. He did, however, claim Odom told employees he used cocaine on Saturday before his arrival. Hof says he has a zero tolerance policy for drug use.
He added employees informed him the former reality star took eight to ten herbal Viagra-like supplements to “keep up” with the girls at the brothel.
“Everything was fine until Tuesday morning,” Hof told Grace Wednesday.
“My staff took some food in to him about noon. The girls came back at 3:15 and he was unconscious, foaming from the mouth,” he added.
Odom’s estranged wife Khloe Kardashian rushed to his bedside at the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. His current condition is unknown, but various media outlets have reported that he is on life support. The two wed in 2009, but Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, citing irreconcilable differences.
Since their divorce isn’t finalized, she will be making medical decisions on his behalf.
Kris Jenner and Rob Kardashian have asked fans to pray for Odom on Instagram.
His father and two children have also arrived at the hospital, CNN reports. Odom’s former Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant and Rev. Jesse Jackson have also already visited.
Thursday on NewsOne Now Roland Martin talked with Rev. Jesse Jackson who visited Odom at his bedside. Martin also talked with psychologist Dr. Jeff Gardere about fighting addiction. Watch their discussion in the video clip below.
