A new report suggests that Rev. Jesse Jackson's wife is not making as speedy a recovery as her civil rights icon husband following the couple being hospitalized last weekend after they tested positive for COVID-19.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, the civil rights icon announced Friday afternoon in an open letter to the public.

“We’re free, but not equal," the Rev. Jesse Jackson told NewsOne last week.
