Bill Clinton Clears Up Comments About Obamacare
The former president caused a media frenzy on Monday over comments interpreted as a hit towards President Obama’s signature Affordable Care Act. While stumping for Hillary, he said Obamacare was the “craziest thing in the world.” A Clinton spokesperson later said the line was taken out of context. The comment was in direct reference to high premiums paid by ACA participants who earn over a certain amount. Paisley Park Opens Thursday For Short Stint
Paisley Park, the estate of the ‘Purple One,’ is set to welcome visitors on Thursday for a three-day period, after the Chanhassen City Council placed a rezoning request on hold. Council members will revisit the rezone vote on December 20. Ticket holders will be permitted to enter estate grounds on October 6, October 8, and October 14. Fans who purchased tickets for other simultaneous dates will receive refunds, but reps for Paisley Park said they will try to accommodate as many as possible. Eddie Murphy To Be Honored At Hollywood Film Awards
The iconic comedian will be honored at the 20th Annual Hollywood Film Awards ceremony with the Career Achievement Award, Dick Clark Productions announced Tuesday. James Corden will host the event on November 6 in Los Angeles. “Eddie Murphy has had a spectacular career as a comedian, actor, writer, producer and director, spanning more than 35 years,” said Dick Clark Production’s CEO Allen Shapiro. “We look forward to honoring his extraordinary body of work.” Read more.
