Another celebrity couple called it quits. Usher and his wife of three years Grace Miguel are officially splitting. The 40-year-old married Miguel in September 2015.

According to People.com, Usher filed for divorce in Georgia. A joint statement read, “After much thought and consideration, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”
The two were reportedly separated for months and last seen together in June.
This is Usher’s second marriage. He was married to Tameka Foster from 2007 to 2009. Nonetheless, the singer appears to be happy. In his first time being photographed since the divorce went public, Usher is all smiles, see below:
Last year, Usher was caught up in a media firestorm after people came forward accusing him of exposing them to and giving them herpes. One accuser, an unidentified man, dropped a request for the singer to turn over his medical records. The Blast reported earlier this month, “The unidentified man is withdrawing his motion to compel, which sought to have Usher turn over doctors records and information on any possible past settlements over herpes. The docs note that he could bring the motion again but for now he will continue with ‘further discovery.'”
The man claims they met at a spa in Los Angeles and the case is ongoing.
