The woman, according to TMZ, is a model who goes by the name Karima, reportedly said he raped her a in a hotel dressing room for  25-30 minutes and it was “brutal and violent.” She reportedly said he “catches me by the right arm. He makes me enter a sort of dressing room. He closed the door … it lasted 25-30 minutes.” She went to the cops 2 days later.

TMZ also reports, “Someone connected to Brown tells us the singer was never alone with the alleged victim and says Chris’ girlfriend, Ammika Harris, was in the hotel room the whole time. He says there were more than 20 people in the room ‘hanging out’ and listening to music Brown was playing on his iPhone.”

This is not the first time Brown has been in legal trouble. Back in 2009, he was arrested hours after he was accused of assaulting Rihanna following an argument the two allegedly had over another woman. The singer later pleaded guilty to felony assault.

In 2013, Chris Brown told Matt Lauer about the 2009 assault, “I’ve been humbled by the whole experience,” he said. “From me losing everything, you know, to me having to regain public opinion or whatever it is but most importantly, you know, knowing that what I did was totally wrong and having to kind of deal with myself and kind of forgive myself in the same breath and being able to apologize to, you know, Rihanna and being able to be that man that can be who is a man, you know?”

Brown had many run-ins with the law since then. In 2013, he spent two and a half months in jail after he was arrested for reportedly assaulting a man outside of the W Hotel in Washington D.C. However, he was finally off probation in 2015.
