“The Wendy Williams Show” is not returning anytime soon. After weeks of delays, she was scheduled to return this week. However, according to her social media, the show will be on an “extended break” with no return date.

“Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves’ Disease that will require treatment,” according to her show’s Instagram account. “Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians, and as part of her care, there will be significant time spent in the hospital. Despite her strong desire to return, she is taking a necessary, extended break from her show to focus on her personal and physical well-being. Wendy thanks everyone in advance for their well-wishes and for respecting her and The Hunter Family’s privacy during this time.”

The show was airing reruns this week while next week’s shows were expected to feature a variety of hosts for original episodes.

The 54-year-old has been going through several issues over the past few months. She injured her arm, has been having ongoing thyroid issues, her husband allegedly got another woman pregnant and she reportedly will file for divorce.

Love B. Scott originally reported the show was in jeopardy. However, the site received a cease and desist letter from Wendy’s lawyers, asking to remove the story that her husband got another woman pregnant and she was filing for divorce. The letter stated, “Mrs. Wendy Williams-Hunter and Mr. Kevin Hunter categorically deny each and every allegation made by your ‘sources’, even if not specifically enumerated herein.”

The letter was a bizarre twist considering the talk show diva has made a career out of talking about other people.

Wendy’s husband, Kevin Hunter, had a longtime mistress who he bought a home for just down the street from him and his wife, the Daily Mail reported.

Love B. Scott also claimed the 54-year-old was struggling with self-medicating herself. Radar Online wrote that Wendy can “barely stand at times” and her friends say there’s a “major problem.”

Last month, Wendy was slammed on social media for being on the receiving end of gossip after making a career out of talking about people. “Family Matters” actress Cherie Johnson ripped into Williams, saying she needed to find Jesus.

Nonetheless, we hope Wendy’s health improves.
