Another one of R. Kelly‘s kids is speaking out about him, this time it is Jaah Kelly, who came out as transgender in 2014. However, Jaah said in a recent radio interview to not be called transgender or Kelly’s son. In Jaah’s first reference to R. Kelly since “Surviving R. Kelly” aired, Jaah, who is reportedly 19, will be releasing a song about the 52-year-old singer.

Jaah, who goes by “R. Kelly’s child,” wrote on Instagram, “I’ve personally decided that I’m going to drop it on the 22nd not only because @bu.k.u will have an emergency verse on it, but also because It was very hard to record the song, let alone write it and produce the beat and I’ve just been thinking about everything I’ve had to deal with being R.kelly’s (sic) child.” Jaah added, “It was hard to even post the parts that I did.. The past couple days have been a little rough but we gone be Gucci dawg. I appreciate and love all of the support ya’ll been giving not only me but my whole family.”
Buku Abi, whose real name is Joann Kelly, is Kelly’s daughter. No word on what the lyrics are, but listen to the clip below.

Earlier this month, Abi said in her Instagram stories that she hasn’t heard from her father in years, “Unfortunately, for my own personal reasonings & for all my family has endured in regards to him, his life decisions and his last name, it has been years since my siblings and I have seen or have spoken to him. In regards to my mother [Andrea Lee], she for the same reasonings and more, has not seen or spoken to my father in years. My mother, siblings and I would never condone, support or be a part of ANYTHING negative he has done and or continues to do in his life.”
She also called her father a monster, “The same monster you all confronting me about is my father. I am well aware of who and what he is. I grew up in that house. My choice to not speak on him and what he does is for my peace of mind. My emotional state. And for MY healing. I have to do & move in a manner that is best for me. I pray anyone who reads this understands I put nothing but good intent behind each word.”
Kelly reportedly believes his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly, has brainwashed his kids to hate him. TMZ reports, “Sources close to R. Kelly say … the R&B singer isn’t upset with Joann Lee Kelly for breaking her silence and calling him a ‘monster,’ because he thinks his daughter was only parroting her mother, Drea Kelly’s views. We’re told he feels Drea’s brainwashed all 3 of their kids into hating him.”
Andrea Kelly has not responded to the accusation of brainwashing.
