There has been speculation on the state of Katt Williams since he missed an appearance on the Conan O’Brien show Wednesday. Early yesterday morning, he was arrested on weapons charges with a ten man entourage.
Police found his SUV and a Mercedes bus parked on Broadway and 28th St. in Manhattan. According to police, the SUV was missing a license plate and had three guns in plain sight.
According to Mediatakeout, he was in rapper, Jim Jones’ studio, while the police investigation took place. When Williams came out of the studio he told police that the vehicles were his, he was promptly handcuffed and arrested on weapons charges.
Williams spent 18 hours in jail and was released on $25,000 bond just in time to make a show at Carnegie Hall.
