Pastor Jamal Bryant is known for alleged homophobia, sexism, cheating on his wife, nearly going to jail for not paying child support and being a “carnival act.” Now he will be leaving Empowerment Temple in Baltimore to become the senior pastor for New Birth Missionary Baptist Church — at Eddie Long‘s former church.

Long was also embroiled in scandal. He was deeply homophobic, yet was accused of taking advantage of several men. Eddie Long died on January 15, 2017 from an “aggressive cancer.” He was 63 years old.
