Donald Trump truly knows how to embarrass himself. While making the country suffer over a government shutdown due to his racist border wall, he now has the nerve to serve football players fast food—and a video has gone viral, creating yet another media disaster from 45.

The Clemson Tigers won the NCAA championship and were invited to the White House. Instead of serving them food fitting for a White House visit, his team slapped some fast food, including McDonald’s and Wendy’s, on a table — even though Trump owns five-star restaurant and hotel in Washington, D.C. In a now viral video, 45 said, “Because of the shutdown, you know we have the great Clemson team with us, the national champions. So we went out and we ordered American fast food, paid for by me. Lots of hamburgers, lots of pizza…. We have some very large people that like eating. So I think we’re going to have a little fun,” he added.
He also claimed the fast food slop is “great American food.”
After getting dragged, the White House released a statement, attempting to blame Democrats, “The President wanted to host a fun event to celebrate the College Football National Champion Clemson Tigers. Because the Democrats refuse to negotiate on border security, much of the residence staff at the White House is furloughed — so the President is personally paying for the event to be catered with some of everyone’s favorite fast foods.”
