In honor of the anniversary of the 19th Amendment being ratified, we spotlight notable Black women who have fought for to secure our right to cast ballots and participate in elections.
Black women are still facing unrelenting attacks on their fundamental rights and freedoms in America.
The nonpartisan convening will feature conversations about protecting and strengthening Democracy through various mechanisms, including voter education and registration, culture change and direct voter mobilization.Â
"It can no longer be denied: The new Georgia is real, here to stay and is essential to the efforts to protect our democracy," writes Nsé Ufot, CEO of the the New Georgia Project.
