Brian Flores
Tua's head injury has left many people questioning if the Miami Dolphins even should have allowed him to play Thursday night.
It's not surprising that Flores found a new coaching home with the Steelers. Until a little over a week ago, Tomlin was the league's only Black head coach.
In the lawsuit, the firm representing Flores said the coach hopes to “shine a light on the racial injustices that take place inside the NFL.”
Flores is the latest victim of an NFL culture that sees black men, players, or coaches, as a product before it does a person. His suit is just the latest proof that Colin Kaepernick was right about the league from the jump.
Black NFL head coach David Culley was fired from the Houston Texans last week. He is the second NFL Black head coach in a week to be fired from the job.
