A former Georgia deputy was sentenced to 16 months in federal prison for his participation in the brutal beating of Jarrett Hobbs.
Charges against Jarrett Hobbs, the black man who was brutally attacked by officers in his jail cell, have been dropped.
Jarrett Hobbs’ attorneys also requested that the DOJ investigate whether the officers involved potentially committed a hate crime.
