Kendrick Sampson is laying the foundation for a movement that centers joy, art, pleasure, and creativity—all Black birthrights to claim.
Sampson shared disturbing footage of a cop in Cartagena, Colombia, assaulting him on Dec. 15.
They detail everything in a letter called Hollywood 4 Black Lives.
He also talks about abolishing the police and prisons.
Sampson, who campaigned across the country for Bernie Sanders before the Vermont senator conceded the race to Hillary Clinton, said he was inspired by the youth who attended the rallies in droves.
