It's been one year since Jacob Blake was shot seven times and paralyzed from the waist down by a Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The Tuesday announcement comes two weeks after Sheskey returned from administrative leave. Inaction in Kenosha, along with the resignations in the Daunte Wright killing outside of Minneapolis, raise renewed concerns about policing and discipline.Â
Vincent Arenas and Brittany Meronek reported back to work on Jan. 20 after they were placed on administrative leave following Blake's shooting in August 2020.
Nearly five months after he was left partially paralyzed, Blake publicly recounted the events of Aug. 23, where he was shot seven times in the back by Kenosha police.
