There is never justification for making it harder for eligible citizens to vote, yet that is exactly what some officials in Ohio are doing with its new directive about absentee ballots.

Fresh off of losing several high-profile elections, Georgia Republicans have now turned their sights on trying to make absentee ballots use more difficult to cast.

1.2 million absentee ballots were requested in the upcoming Senate runoff race which could signal a positive outcome for Democrats in the Peach State.

Evidence shows voting by mail is rarely subject to fraud, does not give an advantage to one political party over another and can in fact inspire public confidence in the voting process, if done properly.
