Will Smith

Academy Awards members are split on nominating Will Smith for his new film, "Emancipation,' because of lingering animosity over slapping Chris Rock.

Will got in 'one little fight and the academy got scared.' It should have that same energy for victims of powerful predators as well.

And it wasn't just O'Donnell. Comedy director Judd Apatow tweeted then deleted a post declaring that Will could have killed Rock. Will "could have killed him" with a slap that didn't even take Rock off his feet.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley deleted a tweet she posted praising Will Smith for smacking Chris Rock during the Oscars 2020 award show after Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett-Smith and her alopecia condition.

Will Smith appeared to slap Chris Rock in the face on live TV at the 2022 Academy Awards ceremony after the host mocked the acting career of Jada Pinkett Smith. TV stations outside of the U.S. captured the censored audio following the wild confrontation.

Will Smith’s Book Club has teamed up with the Creative Artists Agency Foundation for the creation of a mentorship program.

While King Richard has already generated Oscar buzz for Will Smith's stunning portrayal of Venus and Serena's hardworking father Richard Williams, some critics weren't too happy with the film crediting the tennis champs dad for their iconic career.

During a recent cover story for 'GQ,' Hollywood star Will Smith got very candid on where his relationship with Jada Pinkett-Smith stands today, and it seems to be way more progressive than many people might've expected.

Smith and director Antoine Fuqua decided to pull their slave drama "Emancipation" out of Georgia in protest of new voting restrictions, but voting rights advocates have asked that high-profile celebrities stay and fight instead.

Labor Day might not bring out the grills this year, but the drinks and more importantly the jams can still be flowing freely.
