Friday marks the 65th anniversary of Ruby Bridges becoming the first Black student to desegregate her New Orleans elementary school. 

Sixty-five years ago, Ruby Bridges bravely integrated a New Orleans school, opening doors for Black children. Her courage still teaches us about equality today.
