What happens when outsiders to the HBCU community try to impact Black college culture? The answer may not be as straightforward as you think.
Marion Jones was the fastest woman on earth; her name was mentioned among some of the greatest track and field athletes of all time. Jones won five medals at the 2000 Sidney Olympic Games. But it all came crashing down based upon telling a lie to a federal investigation, landing her in prison for six months.
Marion Jones joins Roland Martin for the taping of Washington Watch on the Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage 2001 to discuss her new book, “On the Right Track” and how she has turned her life around.
