According to published reports, after Dash ate dinner on Sunday night, she wasn’t able to hold anything down. By Tuesday, Dash was taken to L.A.’s Encino Hospital and hooked up to an IV bag. The actress was later released.

The 46-year-old stunner, who also recently co-starred in the film “Dysfunctional Friends,” has been maintaining a low profile since she left her Queen Latifah-produced cable hit show, because reportedly, her departure was not on good terms.

Dash, who played “Val Stokes,” claimed that she wanted to spend more time with her children, son Austin, 21 (whose father is former R&B heartthrob Christopher Williams) and daughter Lola, 9.

Rumors indicated, though, that the tension on the “Single Ladies”set ran high between Dash and co-star LisaRaye McCoy:In May 2011, a source told Us Magazine that Dash ran off the set of the show like a mad woman shrieking, “No, I ain’t coming back unless that b*tch [McCoy] gets her as* kicked!”  According to witnesses, McCoy didn’t do anything to provoke the outburst.

Another one of Dash’s co-stars, D.B. Woodside, also told a radio show host just two months ago that Dash was difficult to work with, and that when she left, the work mood changed to a positive environment.

Woodside, who plays McCoy’s love interest on the show, “Malcolm,” said, “I don’t want to cause any trouble, but I, for one, am happy she’s gone. It’s a much better place to be. It’s a much better set,” he said bluntly. “I’m just going to keep it straight. I’m just going to keep it real. I am happy that she’s not there anymore.”

Woodside was reportedly so excited to hear that Dash was leaving, that he even went out and partied it up with a few rounds of drinks.
