6 Suspects In Richmond High School Gang Rape Plead “Not Guilty”

Six suspects accused in the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl on a California high school campus entered not guilty pleas Tuesday, police said.

A seventh person who had been arrested was released for lack of evidence, said Richmond Police Lt. Mark Gagan.

A date will be set on January 21 for a preliminary hearing, the Contra Costa County district attorney’s office said.

Police say as many as 10 people were involved in the October 24 incident, which occurred in a back alley outside Richmond High School, where a homecoming dance was taking place.

Another 10 people watched the attack, which lasted more than two hours, without calling 911, police say.

The victim, who was taken to a hospital in critical condition, was released Wednesday.

    Oh these fukers claim they aint guilty huh. That poor girl. I can only imagine her road to some kind of recovery. She has to live through this horrific nightmare all over again to go through this trial. She has to see their gotdamn faces. I feel horrible for her. FOR THEM you fukers get ready. California State prison got a cell and couple of boyfriends waiting on all of you. I read that the real OGs heard about his and were very upset. They said they have already issued street justice on these fools. They are certainly going to jail and they will certainly pay many times over for what they have done.

    That’s absolutely ridiculous that not 1 person watching did anything to stop what happened for 2 hrs..they say in pysch class that when one person doesn’t do anything, no1 else will react beacuse they don’t want to be the one stopping the wrongdoing! The watchers will prolly get some type of punishment..it’s Cali! One girl had got time from being at a party where a girl was raped on the 2nd fl of the house while she and a few others were on another floor…how was she supposed to kn the girl was raped? Wrong place wrong time scenario!
