They being investigated because they are GUILTY , not because they are black Charlie Rangle , write the tax laws and be the first to vote for higher taxes , yet he didnt pay his own taxes and has over half mil of unreported income. Ask yourself why do politicians spend millions to get a job that pays just over 100k ? and why most wealthy politicians are corrupt democrats , who always scream they helping the lil man, yall neggaz better wake up and stop being sheeps

I agree with touchmesomeone. These people are CROOKS and should be thrown out of office. The white reps have had their bad days as well, but I didn’t hear THEM whining about racism.

Weather they are guilty of ethics violations or not ALL of congress and the senate need to be looked at. The whole thing seem a bit lopped sided. I’m sure if the Black congress people are under suspicion other non black congress people should be as well.

I can’t really feel sorry for any of the black congress men and women. We vote for them to represent us in Washington, but when they get there they act just like their white counterparts or act worst. Benny Thompson has made a lot of money while in washington but his district in mississippi never seems to improve. 90% of these congressmen district are full with crime, poor eduaction systems and poor social institutions.

This is about reading the writing on the wall. Question? Why are the ethics complaint placed solely on African American Leadership? What? Like you don’t know? They’re black. White politicians have played the game since the gavel swung on DAY 1. But not one of them is worth looking at up close? My Congressman has been in court for 5 years for Alaska State ethics violation. How is it that Washington watchdogs missed him and his piles of legal doc**ents?

I’m telling you…this is getting ready to be some BS, right here. Clearly, it prohibits any of the Black Caucus members from developing close alignments with the President. It’s that same crap they do on the job, start getting suspicious when blacks congregate.

Once the Dems took over O.B.’s campaign, they began blocking access. Black legislators had to organize just to get past Ob’s gatekeepers, to give the brother money. Dems were cool w/on-line donations, but Black and wanting a photo op and press release, oh hell no! It got to the point where, they had folks lookin out, trying to zoom in on Barack…hey, man, we got money!! The democrats don’t share our concerns or are more concerned about how it appears to other white folks, since they already got us hip pocket.

Support our Black Caucus; we have to push back.
We lost Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney. She was down for us with crazy courage of the Sojourner Truth kind. She exposed the 5000 bodies buried by DOD after Katrina; told the House, 911 Commission was a fraud, and introduced legislation to have GW Bush impeached for taking us into a false war. The Capital cops, roughed her up, made her sound belligerent and indignant. Web posted the photos, with her hair and make up twisted. People were all to willing to demonize her. We’ve got to stop this from happening again. They’re all we have. We have to support them.

Now this is what I mean by hard hitting journalism. Who actually gives a sh*# about Rihanna’s swolen eye; Chris Brown’s dance moves; or Snoop Dogg throwing up gang signs at NYSE? The fact is…black professionals, especially black politicians, are going to be targeted and placed under a tremendous amount of scrutiny, especially if a slither of impropriety exist. We see this all the time with our black star athletes, entertainers as well.

Barbara Jordan, Maxine Waters, Cynthia McKinney, John Conyers, John Lewis, political careers are under a glaring miscroscope. Why? Because they bring to light the treasonous laws, acts that are being passed; corruption that exist in corporate america, government(namely CIA, DEA); and the acceptance of huge donations from lobbyist.

My…I could go on and on but I am not in a mood to write a dissertation.

The CBC is a sleazy group anyways. Did they not go off to Cuba and try to become buddy buddy with Fidel? I have never liked their motives or their leaders (Clyburn especially!).

And there are white politicians being investigated for ethics too (they just aren’t congressmen), so the race-baiting is sounding pretty dumb. My own governor is under investigation right now for an ethics probe into his travels.

So stop crying foul you guys! Its all good!
