The AJC reports:

MARTA police were investigating why the person was on the track at the time, Harris said. A representative of the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office was at the scene. The victim’s identity was not immediately available.

Rail service was suspended at Lindbergh Center, and the station was closed as of 9:45 p.m.

“We are providing bus service to our rail customers between the Arts Center Station and the Buckhead and Lenox stations,” Harris said.

The service interruption will continue until the investigation is completed, he said.
