Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson (pictured right) has led a life that few can even imagine. Tyson made a fortune but then lost it all as an ex-felon, drug abuser, womanizer, and sex addict. Yet, in recent years, Tyson has managed to rise above it all and has now found his happy place. In an honest and brutally raw account of his life, Tyson chronicles his life’s hits and misses in his upcoming memoir, “Undisputed Truth” (pictured below).  In a chapter from his book, Tyson accuses actress, ex-wife Robin Givens (pictured left) of trying to bring him to financial ruin along with her mother, Ruth Roper Givens.

Tyson was at the height of his boxing career when he met Givens in 1987, with the legendary boxer being worth $50 million. According to Tyson, Givens allegedly faked a pregnancy so that she could receive millions from her then-wealthy paramour. He also states in his book how the conniving pair of women were “on the prowl for a big Black celebrity for Robin,” with Roper allegedly arranging their marriage because Givens was supposed to be pregnant at the time.

As soon as the couple tied the knot, Givens and Roper allegedly went shopping for a mansion.  According to Tyson, he paid the entire $5 million bill for the home Givens and her “ruthless” mom found in an exclusive New Jersey suburb.

Soon after, Tyson says his accountant got on the ‘Bat phone” to tell him that Givens was demanding that the money be released from his account for the home purchase.

Tyson says he not only gave the women the $5 million for the home but another $10 million that went in to a separate account.

It was during this time that Givens reportedly claimed that she had miscarried:

She was supposedly three months pregnant when we got married. Now it was June  and she hadn’t gained a pound, so the next thing I knew she was in bed and  claimed she had miscarried our baby.

The Tyson/Givens union lasted only one year, and it was after the alleged miscarriage that the marriage reportedly began to disintegrate.

There were published reports that Givens received a $10 million parting gift from her husband, but she claimed that not one dime went in to her pocket. Givens alleged spousal abuse was the reason she could not remain in the marriage, while Tyson claims his wife alienated him and was only interested in what he had in the bank.

Since the divorce, Givens, who was crowned as the “most hated woman in America” at the time, went on to marry once more, then divorced after a year. In 1993, she adopted a boy and seven years later, she gave birth to a boy who was fathered by her ex-boyfriend, tennis player Murphy Jensen.

The book also sheds light on other tumultuous incidents:  In 1992, Tyson was accused of raping beauty queen Desiree Washington; he was given six years in prison for his crime but was released after three. Tyson had comeback fights,  but in 1997, he was placed in the boxing hall of shame when he bit the ear of boxing contender Evander Holyfield.

Tyson retired from the sport in 2006.

After Givens, Tyson married two more times and had a total of eight children. In 2009, Tyson experienced the death of his 4-year-old daughter, Exodus, who was strangled by a cord from a treadmill machine. Eleven days after his daughter’s death, he married Lakiha Spicer.

Now Tyson, who contends he is now in a good place despite losing his millions and living “from paycheck to paycheck,” has finally found his silver lining.

“Undisputed Truth” will be released on November 12th.
