There is a so-called R&B singer (if you count humming out random notes, slapping it on a track and sounding like another pitch-corrected singer “singing”) named Jacquees who is getting attention for saying he is the king of R&B. He has never had a song that has charted in the top 60 of Billboard’s Hot 100, no Grammys and his repertoire consists of songs with titles like “Iz Dat You.” Jacquees is the king of nothing and for some reason he decided to disrespect 55-year-old Keith Sweat.

To Keith Sweat’s face, Jacquees said he was the king of R&B to people from “16 to 25,” which is a full blown delusion. Jacquees is more like the peasant of R&B with no home training. He should be honoring the people who came before him, not insulting them. See the disrespect below:

To quote George M. Johnson on Twitter, “14 top 10 R&B hits, 6 number 1 R&B hits, 6 platinum & gold singles” and all Jacquees has is a Twitter account.

The 24-year-old did eventually apologize. See below:

Nonetheless, Jacquees got a ferocious dragging on Twitter. After this stunt, his struggling career in R&B might be officially dead. Check out the reactions below:
